Our destiny lies in who we are, what we say, and what we do.

Steve Catchick – Founder

Steve has had a varied career, commencing with serving in HM Forces, REME, for 11 years. His post forces career has involved a number of IT related positions, initially including an engineering and supervisory role in the data-communications field, culminating in working in a commercial role for IBM. More recent corporate roles expanded to the account management and client management arena, where he utilised his significant range of skills to maintain the fine balance of customer satisfaction with budgetary control. His many talents include facilitating customer and internal management meetings as a qualified facilitator.

In 2004, Steve’s adventurous spirit enabled him to seize the opportunity to take 3 months travelling alone with a backpack in SE Asia, to follow a dream of his. To have the freedom to travel and experience different cultures, is not something that he sees as suitable only for gap year students. He returned to complete his 2-year course with Coach University, and start his own business.

Steve has trained with a number of leading personal development experts. He completed his Master practitioner of NLP with Andy Harrington, and has since gone on to complete his NLP trainers certification with Dr Topher Morrison, and Andy Harrington. He is a registered Master Practitioner of NLP, certified trainer of NLP and certified hypnotherapist, and is a member of both the British and American board of NLP, in addition to the International Coaching Federation.

He also has undergone the Landmark education curriculum for living, involving the Landmark Forum, advanced course, and self-expression and leadership program. He was subsequently asked to coach 6 participants through the tough self-expression and leadership program, and was proud to know that his team of 6 was the only team to complete without anyone dropping out of the scheme.

Steve is public speaker, and an active member of Maidenhead Speakers club, (MHS), serving on the committee. MHS is a part of Toastmasters International, an International Speaking organisation. He firmly advocates the benefits of Leadership and public speaking that Toastmasters provides, and also runs courses in presentation and speaking skills himself.

On a personal note he loves travelling, and dancing, especially swing dancing such as Lindy Hop, (The original Jive), Rock’n’Roll, Salsa, and Argentine Tango. His love of adventure and fun comes across in his desire to meet and build rapport with people, and try new activities. (He broke his ankle in New Zealand in 2005, paragliding, and recently has discovered the joy of Gliding. Perhaps a new hobby). He has two adult sons, whom he brought up as a single parent, (and a cat) and encourages his sons to live life their way.
